Reverie III

Reverie III is the fourth unique bronze sculpture that I created using the "Utopia" mold. (Joie de Vivre, Reveries I, II). With each sculpture I apply varying textures of microcrystalline wax into the mold, and, depending on how I press and or pour the wax, I am able to create individual compositions of the figure with individual expression. This experimentation is something that I enjoy as well as the process of casting the bronzes at Lake Tahoe Community College. Reverie III was cast in Fall of 2008, my last year at LTCC and she may be the last of this series I am able to cast myself.
